Vision Project Management were appointed to take over and complete the Brightwell Court residential development following the insolvency of the original contractor. The project required a structured and methodical approach to coordinate multiple incomplete work packages, address compliance issues, and bring the scheme through to successful completion and certification.
Our role involved the completion and certification of the building in line with current Building Control requirements. This included the management and coordination of all outstanding construction activities, ensuring that each element of the development was delivered to the required standard and fully compliant with relevant regulations.
A key aspect of the works included the completion of flat roofing systems across the development. Single-ply membrane solutions were utilised to provide a durable and weather-resistant finish, aligned with modern construction standards.
In addition to the roofing works, all associated rooftop plant installations were completed, ensuring full integration with the building systems. This included careful coordination of mechanical and electrical interfaces to ensure performance, safety, and compliance.
The project demanded close coordination between multiple trades and stakeholders to resolve legacy issues left by the previous contractor. A proactive management approach was adopted to prioritise critical path activities, maintain programme momentum, and ensure that quality standards were consistently achieved.
Testing and commissioning formed a key part of the delivery process, with all systems thoroughly verified prior to final handover. This ensured the development was fully operational and compliant at the point of completion.
Brightwell Court was successfully completed and certified, meeting all Building Control requirements. Outstanding works were effectively managed and delivered to a high standard, resulting in a fully functional residential development ready for occupation.
